Lauren Elizabeth Ash was born on February 4, 1983, in Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known to the television audience for her performance as Dina Fox in the sitcom Superstore. Ash is a grad of Second City Toronto Mainstage, and Second City Chicago mainstage. She is also a part of the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She has been an Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Improviser twice in 2006 and 2007. In 2012, she was awarded the Best Performance by a Female – Television Almost Heroes award. In 2015, she was awarded the Best Female Performance award in a Feature Film for her role in Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the show that pranks "Scare Techniques". Since 2020, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" together with her cousin Christy Oxborrow.LaurenLauren
